La Paz (the peace) is conveniently located near the bottom tip of Baja California Sur. Mysteriously protected from the ever changing world, coming to La Paz is a strange mix of stepping back in time while still offering modern amenities one would expect in larger better known Resort cities. Walking the beautifully redone Malecon you might think you're in a small Mediterranean seaport. While visiting the shopping district you may think of old eighteen century Europe, but either way you will always feel the peace that is La Paz and it's people. Possibly an over used quote but none the less fact, The renowned Sea fairing explorer Jacque Cousteau referred to The Sea of Cortez as "The Aquarium of the World". La Paz is the largest city located on the western shores of The Sea of Cortez and this will be your backdrop for the wedding. The point of a Destination Wedding is to do something out of the ordinary so why not do it where you and your guest can experience a life time of memories. The memories start here, let us help plan your wedding in Paradise. A word on Destination Weddings: One might ask themselves, why do I need a wedding planner, why can't I just come down and get married and enjoy La Paz on my own, why pay someone to help? The old saying, "It's not only what you know but who you know" has never been more appropriately used then here in Mexico. From finding fresh strawberries to finding a reliable photographer can be difficult task for one who is not familiar with day to day living here. The smallest of task can sometimes be very time involved even for us but we have the infrastructure in place to make the difficult easy. We have spent the past twelve years coordinating small to large groups of people for various different activities with sometimes the wildest of request. And the cost is considerable less then that of the states. You may be surprised just how affordable it is for you and your guest. We look forward to helping you experience your day in the sun. Sincerely, Ana & Andrea Tomba ![]()
